National Sports Day : Online Quiz
On August 29, India celebrates National Sports Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey wizard Dhyan Chand. It was celebrated for the first time in 2012. The birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand is on 29 August 1905.

गन्दगी मुक्त भारत : निबंध / पोस्टर प्रतियोगिता
गंदगी मुक्त भारत’ अभियान
इस अभियान में सभी छात्र- छात्राएं को "गन्दगी मुक्त भारत" विषय निबंध / पोस्टर प्रतियोगिता के लिए आमंत्रित किया जा रहा है | सभी विद्यार्थी अपना निबंध /पोस्टर एक कगज पर लिख/ बना कर उसे अपलोड कर सकते हैं |
8 अगस्त, 2020 को भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री ने 'स्वच्छता' के लिये एक सप्ताह (8 अगस्त से 15 अगस्त) तक चलने वाले ‘गंदगी मुक्त भारत’ (Gandagi Mukt Bharat) अभियान की शुरुआत की।
प्रमुख बिंदु:
- इस सप्ताह के दौरान 15 अगस्त, 2020 तक प्रत्येक दिन शहरी एवं ग्रामीण भारत में 'स्वच्छता' के लिये 'जन-आंदोलन' को फिर से लागू करने के लिये विशेष 'स्वच्छता' कार्यक्रम आयोजित किये जाएंगे।
- भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री ने नई दिल्ली में राजघाट पर गांधी स्मृति और दर्शन समिति में राष्ट्रीय स्वच्छता केंद्र (Rashtriya Swachhata Kendra- RSK) का शुभारंभ किया जो ‘स्वच्छ भारत मिशन’ पर एक संवादात्मक अनुभव केंद्र है।
- केंद्र सरकार द्वारा 'गंदगी मुक्त भारत' अभियान शुरू किये जाने के बाद 9 अगस्त, 2020 को बिहार सरकार ने राज्य के लोगों को स्वच्छता के महत्त्व के बारे में सूचित करने के लिये एक जागरूकता अभियान शुरू किया।
